What do you need to know about the database?
The CreditBoards "Credit Pulls" database contains user-submitted information about applications for credit cards, loans, and other credit products. It details which financial institutions performed credit checks, which credit bureaus were used, and the credit scores of applicants. Users share their experiences with the application processes, including reasons for approval or denial and the amounts of approved credit limits. This database is valuable for those planning to apply for credit, as it provides insights into others' experiences and helps understand the expectations of different financial institutions.

What data are included in the database?
The easiest way to search the database is by entering the name of the creditor. After searching, the following types of information are displayed:
- Name of the record
- Consumer state
- Consumer ZIP
- CRA (Credit Reporting Agency)
- Date applied
- Approval status
- Credit score
- Credit limit
- Number of viewers' ratings
Click on the record name to get detailed information, such as followers, comments, and reviews. Results can be sorted by criteria such as last comment date, title, highest rated, start date, most reviewed, most viewed, and more.
How to search the database?
The database can be searched easily by entering the name of the creditor. Filters are available for narrowing down searches. However, searches cannot be combined due to current limitations.
You can search using the following filters:
- Consumer state (selected from a drop-down list)
- CRA (Equifax, TransUnion, Experian)
- Date applied (select a range)
- Approval status (yes or no)
A "Remember filters" function is also available for convenience.
