What do you need to know about the database?

The following financial institutions have committed to measure and disclose the greenhouse gas emissions associated with their loan and investment portfolios. Those with "Disclosed" status reported their financed emissions. The PDFs available in the "Download" column are the most recent disclosures from financial institutions. The PCAF makes the information published by signatories available on this website for transparency for interested parties. The inclusion of these disclosures does not constitute certification or endorsement by the PCAF that the disclosure complies with the PCAF Standard. - Source PCAF website

What data are included in the database?

Entering a keyword will display the following information:

1. Financial institution
2. Headquarters
3. Region
4. Category
5. Total financial assets (in million $US, including lending and investments)
6. Status
7. Date joined
8. Date of first disclosure
9. Date of most recent disclosure
10. Download
11. Title of the content
12. Published by
13. Short description

How to search the database?

You can search the database simply by keyword. Use the following filters to narrow down the results:

1. Headquarters
2. Region (Africa, Asia-Pacific, Europe, Latin America, North America)
3. Category (asset owner/managers, commercial bank, development bank, export credit agency, financial services group, insurance, integrated bank-insurance group, investment bank, promotional bank)
4. Status (committed, disclosed)

A simple click on the CLEAR FILTERS button clears the search results. If you click on a column name, the database will sort the results by the type of information in that column. In the download column, where you find a small file icon, clicking on the icon will quickly and easily download the relevant files.
